AEVUM™ is a 3D phycological first-person dark fantasy adventure game exploring mental and physical health, fears and escapism.
After waking up in Aevum, A surreal liminal space suspended between life and death, explore and unlock interconnected, mental health-related fantasy worlds in a bid to unlock the door to a more peaceful reality.
AEVUM: PART 1
Aevum: Part 1 (our first chapter on the way) explores the first of these worlds, Journeying deep into the human body itself and battling manifestations of body dysmorphia, anxiety, societal pressure, and exploring femme range and the lasting impact mental and physical trauma has on the nervous system inside a psychological body-horror fantasy space.
While some worlds lean towards restoration our first stage is a darker, exploration of the protagonists dismantling of systems and channelling femme rage as a means of catharsis.
Dark Fantasy Exploration
Explore haunting, symbolic environments inspired by inner worlds, the human body, and subconscious fears. Each space reflects emotional states through surreal architecture, lighting, and sound.
Symbolic Narrative
Themes including identity, trauma, societal pressures fear of the passage of time, and healing the inner child are explored through visual metaphor, environment, and sensory cues.
Atmospheric Sound Design
An immersive, reactive spatial soundscapes that guide while heightening tension, unease, and emotional intensity throughout each surreal environment. From distorted ambience to reactive environmental audio, sound plays a key role in shaping each world’s psychological impact.
